As a feature of the brand new 'Bear TV' series we are working on we are going to be playing a couple of tunes.. One of ours and then our interpretation (i.e. a COVER!) of a tune selected by YOU- preferably something people have heard of! Most amusing band news we’ve ever received came today… we have a whole page article in this month’s METAL HAMMER magazine about us winning the ‘Rock The House’ best UK live band award this year! Will post the article later! Available in all good newsagents folks…!

Greetings all!

We are currently in day 2 of the "Lancing Sessions". We had a very productive day 1, starting & finishing the drum tracks (woo, go me!). Now on day 2, we have been almost as productive. This morning Mitzi, Pat and I watched Darren shop like a King at Asda (whilst we shopped like paupers) and this afternoon Darren has been working his magic recording his bass & synth parts whilst we danced like fools!

 Hello one and all!

A lot has been going on over the last few weeks. As usual we have been busy writing in our studio. We have also now started preparations for going into the recording studio to record the first batch of songs for our debut album. So keep your eyes on our blog and facebook for teasers and updates.

But the most exciting of all is that on thursday we were crowned as Best Unsigned Act in the 'Rock The House' awards as chosen by a panel of music industry heavyweights.. The 'Rock the House' awards aimed to raise awareness of the importance of live music & intellectual property- something that really matters to a band like us! As a result of the award we became the first group to play a fully-amplified gig in the Houses Of Parliament. It was a surreal day and definitely one to remember!

We have a number of gigs and festivals in the next few weeks including two this weekend! We'll be playing new songs, as well as your favourites so we hope to see you soon!

Angry Vs The Bear became the first group to play a fully-amplified gig in the Houses Of Parliament after winning the 'Rock The House' Best Unsigned Act award last night.
